Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 belong to the coronavirus family of viruses of the genus Betacorona viruses. The virus originated in China and caused the first wave of its infection in the end of 2019. It rapidly spread across China and then across the globe in no time. The virus caused pneumonia with respiratory depression and eventually death.
Transmission of the Virus
