Navigating ANA Patterns in 2025: ICAP Updates, Clinical Insights, and Educational Advances

Presented on: 6/3/2025
Abstract

The International Consensus on ANA Patterns (ICAP) initiative was established to standardize the interpretation and reporting of antinuclear antibody (ANA) patterns on HEp-2 cells. As ANA testing remains a cornerstone in the diagnosis of systemic autoimmune diseases, staying up to date with the latest ICAP guidelines is essential for laboratory professionals and clinicians alike. This webinar will provide an overview of ICAP’s mission, recent developments, and highlight the newest expert-level patterns discussed at the 7th ICAP Workshop. Join us for an in-depth discussion with ICAP members Dr. Jan Damoiseaux and Dr. Carlos von Mühlen on improving consistency and clarity in ANA pattern interpretation.
